Office hours for Mrs. Cook will be 9:00 – 10:30 each morning. Math (30 minutes): Grab your Math Journal and get ready to follow along with Mrs. Cook’s video about Quadrilaterals. Find this video in SeeSaw. (It is in two parts). Extension Option: CLICK HERE for your Quadrilaterals Math Choice Board. I would like for you to complete at least two of these this week. Work on it a little each day. 😊 Reading (30 minutes): We have finished The Great Mouse Detective – Basil of Baker Street. I would like for you to take a Reading Counts quiz on this book. Please note that the title of the book in Reading Counts is “Basil of Baker Street”. If you don’t type this in as the title, the book will not pop up. To login to Reading Counts, please click on the Reading Links tab at the top of my blog page. You'll find the link there. I've also added a link on my Clever page. Limited Tech Option: Write a one-page summary about the story. Post your summary to SeeSaw. Read independently for the remainder of reading. Remember, you should be reading every day for at least 20 minutes. The more the better! Writing (30 minutes): You have been working so hard on your Fairy Tale adaptations. This week, I would like for you to read over your story from beginning to end and make any corrections or revisions that are needed. You may even want to add illustrations to your fairy tale and create your own book with some pieces of paper stapled together. Post your revisions to SeeSaw so that I can give you some feedback. Social Studies (30 minutes): Today we are going to begin our next Social Studies unit on Colonial Americans. For today’s assignment, you will go to Clever and click on Georgia Studies Weekly. CLICK HERE for detailed instructions on how to do this. When you get into Studies Weekly, you will select Week 13 and read the first article “The Mystery of the Lost Colony of Roanoke.” After reading the article, answer the quiz questions at the bottom of the page. You will only read this one article today. You can even watch the introduction video if you’d like.

Digital Learning for Monday, April 20th
Office hours for Mrs. Cook will be 8:00 – 9:30 this morning. Math (30 minutes): You will need to login to BrainPop Jr. today. I have created my own Clever page to make logging to lots of resources even easier. CLICK HERE to follow the instructions and login to my Clever page. Visit BrainPOP Jr. complete the “Quadrilaterals” assignment in your Dashboard. Then CLICK HERE to complete this Quadrilaterals coloring activity. After coloring your robot, post a picture of it to SeeSaw. (If you are unable to print this assignment at home, please choose the Limited Tech option). Limited Tech Option: Read about Quadrilaterals and complete the activities on p.851-852 MyMath Workbook (Vol. 2). Reading (30 minutes): Today is the day! We are going to finish The Great Mouse Detective – Basil of Baker Street! Settle in and get ready for the thrilling conclusion! Check your inbox in SeeSaw for the videos. It’s in two parts today.
