Digital Learning for Wednesday, May 6th:
Office hours for Mrs. Cook will be 9:00 – 10:30 each morning. Math (30 minutes): CLICK HERE to login to Moby Max and practice Fact Fluency for 10 minutes. Complete the activity “Basic Facts Multiplication” in SeeSaw. Extension Option: CLICK HERE to choose an activity from your Multiplication Facts Choice Board. Reading and Social Studies (25 minutes): Complete the activity “Fluency Quick Check” in SeeSaw. Read independently for the remainder of reading. Remember, you should be reading every day for at least 20 minutes. The more the better! Writing (45 minutes): Now that you have brainstormed your personal narrative and started writing your introduction, I want you to write your story. CLICK HERE for your writing prompt. Think about this as being an on-demand writing prompt like we do at the end of each writing unit. You’ll be writing the whole story today and you should take about 45 minutes to do this. You may choose to write on notebook paper and post your work in SeeSaw or type your story in Word and share it with me. Either, way, please use the checklist and read over your work before submitting. Social Studies (15 minutes) Login to Clever and visit Studies Weekly. Click on Week 17 and read the article “The Southern Colonies.” Then complete the activity “Southern Colonies” in SeeSaw. CLICK HERE for instructions to login to Studies Weekly. Optional Fun!
