Office hours for Mrs. Cook will be 9:00 – 10:30 each morning. Subject # of minutes Math: 30 Click HERE to watch a Step by Step from Study Jams to review estimation. Login to Seesaw and complete the Rounding activities “Estimating Sums by Rounding” and “Estimating Sums and Differences.” Extension Option: Choose an activity from the Week 2 Math Choice Board Link in SeeSaw. I would like for you to complete at least two of these this week. Work on it a little each day. 😊 Limited Tech Option: Complete page 89 # 3-17 in your MyMath Workbook Reading: 30 Listen to Mrs. Cook’s read aloud of The Great Mouse Detective – Chapter 2. *Check your inbox in SeeSaw to find the next chapter. After listening to Chapter 2, you will go to your Class Notebook in Office 365 and respond to the three questions from Chapter 2. Read independently for the remainder of reading. Remember, you should be reading every day for at least 20 minutes. The more the better! Limited Tech Option: While reading your own chapter book, find 3 words that are new to you. Write these down and use context clues to determine the meanings of these three words. If you can, look up their actual definitions in the dictionary too! Writing: 30-40 Click HERE to generate a story idea on Scholastic.com! Have fun spinning the wheel to create a new story idea. You can type your story on the website and it will allow you to download or print at the end. You may also choose to type your story in Office 365 or on a sheet of notebook paper.
